I wish for things that I don't need, and what I chase won't set me free

... two years is a really long time to have been here.

It doesn't feel like it's been nearly that long.

I'm not sure if this is something I should mourn or celebrate, to be honest. I've been pretty lucky here, at least- I have Inara, I have my job, I have a purpose. That's good enough for me.

I've been doing a lot of thinking ever since my evil double captured me. Just about my attitude and the way I treat people in general.

I confess... I know I can be a jerk. I know I can be judgmental and too serious and a general pain to live with. I've vowed to work on that. But first.
