You and everybody else, it seems. Do me a favour and tell the other lads not to tell everybody that they're useless on the journals if you see them, will you? I don't like everybody knowing which of my men are out of commission.

My knuckleduster works just fine, so it looks like blunt objects work well.

[ooc: struck out because he doesn't like people knowing what numerous nasty weapons he has on his person.]

Ah, of course, sir.

I can still fight, I just prefer having an effective weapon on me.

I'll have to see if my truncheon's still normal, then.

True enough. I don't seem to be affected this time round, which is a good thing, 'cos if I couldn't have my sword or my cigars I'd probably just resort to punching somebody in the face. Having some hand-to-hand practice can't be a bad thing, either.

Yes, I have heard of cigarettes and the like disappearing, too. It's odd... my weapon has changed, but my shields still work.

I'm glad Youth offered, yes. I could stand to brush up on my hand-to-hand skills.

That's convenient. I know you can use those for things other than the obvious.

Of course. Youth's got good technique, but make sure you remember certain techniques that aren't exactly in The Gentleman's Handbook of Clean Fighting, so to speak.

It's not ideal, but a lot better than nothing.

Naturally, sir. I'm not averse to using some of them if I absolutely have to.
